Dr. Chalnick was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1980. She has been an active volunteer with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and was recently honored with induction into their Volunteer Hall of Fame. She is an award-winning writer, whose poetry credits include a book and publications in several literary journals.
