$20.00 each

Online Self-Study

20% of the United States population will be diagnosed with infertility and 1 in 7 women and 1 in 10 men will experience a perinatal mood and anxiety disorder (PMAD). Literature has indicated that infertility can lead to feelings of depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma. Additionally, infertility is a risk factor for developing a PMAD (postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, postpartum PTSD, etc.). This presentation will focus on useful mental health strategies and techniques when working with those experiencing infertility and perinatal mental health issues.

This course was recorded from a live webinar presented by Dr. Kristy Christopher-Holloway on March 24, 2021

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe and define infertility and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
  • Describe effective treatment techniques when working with this population.
  • Demonstrate how to effectively incorporate telehealth and virtual counseling to assist with client treatment outcomes.
