This course is a live, interactive webinar held on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 10am-5pm Eastern Daylight Time
Registration closes at midnight (Eastern) the day before the event. Registration limited to 50 participants.
Through a combination of one developmental supervision model and one social roles supervision model, this training webinar will equip participants with a solid framework for how to provide play therapy supervision for interns, pre-licensed therapists, and fully licensed therapists who are providing play therapy services at all levels of professional development. In this workshop, participants will learn how to assess a clinician's level of development and match where the clinician is with the supervisory role and skills that are best fit for the supervise.
Participants will learn how supervisors can provide play-based supervision interventions for the purpose of engaging supervisees experientially while helping supervisees hone their play therapy skills. This course will provide case-studies for participants to apply what they learn in the course about the supervision models to fictional but realistic supervision scenarios.
This course meets the Association for Play Therapy’s credentialing process requirements for those applying for or renewing their Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S) credential. This course provides 5 non-contact CE hours for Play Therapists. Cameras must remain on for the duration of the event in order to earn CEs. This workshop meets APT’s definition of Live Webinar.
