Learn integrative mental health modalities -- Master concepts and improve telehealth client outcomes with this course -- Review the goals of integrated care and provide concepts, techniques, and best practices for providing integrated behavioral health services in the context of providing services remotely.

 

This is a non-interactive self-study course.

Instruction consists of 1 hour of video instruction and an evaluation.

Learning Objectives

Learning Objectives:

  • List several models of integrated behavioral health and discuss the "integration continuum."
  • Illustrate various ways telehealth technologies can be used to implement and enable IBH under a PHE scenario (handoffs, communication/summaries).
  • List several legal/ethical considerations that are important to understand and apply when using telehealth (jurisdictions, consent, privacy, 42 CFR part 2, etc.).

Instructor(s)

Jonathan Neufeld, PhD, is Program Director of the Great Plains Telehealth Resource and Assistance Center (gpTRAC), a federally funded technical assistance program housed at the University of Minnesota Institute for Health Informatics. The Center provides telehealth training and consultation to interested healthcare providers across the Great Plains region. Dr. Neufeld has consulted on a wide range of projects related to rural health and telehealth over the past 15 years.

How to Complete the Course and Earn Your Certificate

To receive your certificate of attendance you must complete the course in its entirety.

To complete a Training Video Course, one must register, log in, select the My Courses option from the menu items, click the Course Title, attend to the video content, and complete the course evaluation, then claim the certificate of attendance.

You can download or print your certificate of attendance by logging into your account, navigating to the course by selecting the My Courses option from the menu items, clicking the Course Title, scrolling to the Certificate of Attendance section, and clicking on the Certificate of Attendance link to either download it or print it.
