This Pre-Conference is intended for clinicians who provide behavioral health services.
Content level is Intermediate
Teaching methods for the training sessions include live webinars, live discussions, Q&A sessions with the speakers, post-tests and course evaluations. Any resources provided by the instructor, including course slides, will be provided to webinar attendees.
By registering for this Pre-Summit you are agreeing to:
Complete the mandatory Summit Instructional Video after registering. You are responsible for being able to attend the virtual summit. Access this video by opening "2023 Pre-Summit Learning Institute" in your course list, and then clicking on the item titled "Mandatory Summit Instructions".
Test using Zoom.us/test before the event to ensure you are ready for the event.
Not to use the “Join from your browser” option. You must use the Zoom app (which automatically initiates or invites you to download the app) so that you can utilize all of the Zoom capabilities.
24 hour notice is required if you are not able to make it to a live event. Recordings are not provided to webinar registrants.
Since this is a live interactive event it means that your interaction during the event is expected.
A post-test and an evaluation must be completed within one week of the event. Continuing Education credit(s) cannot be issued unless you attend the event and the evaluation is submitted. (Evaluation is not mandatory for APA hours)
Partial CE credits are not possible for an individual event; therefore you are required to be present throughout the event with camera on in order to receive CE credits.
Respect all other participants during the event as though you would if you were sitting with the other attendees at a conference table:
- Dress appropriately
- Be in a private location void of distractions
- Do not multitask
- Remain on mute unless you are sharing with the group

To receive your certificate of completion you must complete the course in its entirety.
Live Webinar courses are completed by registering, logging in to this website, navigating to your course using the blue navigation bar (My Courses – the Course Title), attending the full course via webinar, and completing the course evaluation online.
Psychologists and other professionals seeking CE credit through our approval with the American Psychological Association are asked but not required to complete the course evaluation before obtaining their certificate of completion.
You can receive your certificate of completion by logging onto this website, navigating to the course using the blue navigation bar (My Courses – the Course Title), scroll to the bottom of your course, and click on your certificate to either download it or print it.
Participants may request a printed version of their certificate of completion to be delivered by mail. A shipping/handling fee of $6.95 will be charged per request. Shipping internationally may require an additional charge.
