We’ve gathered the nation’s top behavioral and telehealth experts for our virtual 2021 SUMMIT to discuss emerging standards in telehealth and how providers can tailor telehealth services to THEIR unique practices. During the Summit, clinicians from around the nation will receive the opportunity to engage and receive education relating to behavioral health services. The live online concept for this Summit allows for flexibility, significant interaction, integration of skills, and engagement. THTC Certificate Program: This course is designed to prepare you to effectively provide telemental health services. The THTC program covers all of the essential competencies of using technology in practice and of providing services from a distance. Training, CEs and Certificate are included with the program.

The TeleMental Health Provider Workbook:
This workbook can save you many MONTHS of work. It includes worksheets for setting up your telepractice or telemental health program, templates of clinical forms, a guide for selecting a practice management program, and templates of policies and procedures for telemental health. The workbook is provided as a download in several formats, which makes it easy for you to edit them for the purposes of your own telemental health program.
One-Hour of Consultation: Schedule an hour with telemental health expert Ray Barrett to discuss YOUR unique needs as they pertain to your practice.
CE Hours
Earn up to 25.5 CEs with the Tailored Bundle
2021 Summit Full Access provides up to 15 contact hours. (Two 3-hour sessions are available during the Pre-Summit, and six 1.5-hour sessions during the two-day Summit. Credit hours awarded for full attendance at a session, for a total of no more than 15 CE hours)
The THTC Online Self-Study Program offers 10.5 non-contact CEs (6 of which are Ethics)
The TeleMental Health Provider Workbook and the Consultation do not provide CE credits, just great content to improve your practice.
CEs for Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), and Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC):
Telehealth Certification Institute, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No, 6693. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Telehealth Certification Institute, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
CEs for Social Workers:
Telehealth Certification Institute LLC, #1609, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Telehealth Certification Institute LLC maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 05/02/2018 – 05/02/2021.

THTC Instructor: Raymond Barrett, CEO, LMHC, LPC, is an expert telemental health consultant and instructor. He has assisted many organizations with creating, launching, and enhancing their telehealth programs, developed several courses on telemental health, and provided speaking engagements nationwide. Consultation clients and trainees find Ray to be very approachable, available, and knowledgeable. As a clinician, Ray has extensively provided telemental health counseling services in private practice, for facilities, and an EAP program.

The THTC Online Self-Study is completed at your own pace. You have 6 months to complete the training.
The TeleMental Health Provider Workbook can be downloaded and customized for your practice.
The Consultation can be scheduled whenever you are ready to tailor your practice for telemental health and discuss your unique needs.
How to Attend
- Register for the Summit
- In the navigation bar above click on the “My Account – My Courses” tab
- Complete the pre-summit participant self-study training before the event
- Arrive 15 minutes early for the Summit to download the webinar software (Zoom).
- You then can access the Summit by clicking on the course name listed in the “My Courses” tab on the website
Throughout the Summit, you will interact with the instructor and other participants by video, audio, and chat.
A computer with a camera, microphone, speakers, and internet access are required for Summit attendance.
To complete the THTC and access the Provider Workbook:
- In the navigation bar above click on the “My Courses” tab
- You then can access the course by clicking on its title
Who should attend
This Conference and Certificate program are intended for clinicians who provide behavioral health services.
Teaching methods
Teaching methods for the training sessions include live webinars, live discussions, Q&A sessions with the speakers, and course evaluations.
Teaching methods for the THTC Online Self-Study include non-interactive training videos, some reading materials, post-tests and a course evaluation.
Agreement
By registering for the Summit you are agreeing to:
Complete the mandatory Summit Instructional Video after registering. You are responsible for being able to attend the virtual summit.
Test using Zoom.us/test before the event to ensure you are ready for the event.
Not to use the “Join from your browser” option. You must use the Zoom app (which automatically initiates or invites you to download the app) so that you can utilize all of the Zoom capabilities.
Respect all other participants during the event.
