The Relapse Prevention Counseling (RPC) Certification School is designed to teach advanced skills for the identification and management of high-risk situations that can cause relapse in early recovery before a stable recovery program has been established. This advanced clinical skills training is based upon a standard RPC Treatment Plan for managing high-risk situation.
This 3-Day RPC Certification School Training provides the classroom hours required to submit the Competency Certification Portfolio, which must be reviewed and approved to become competency certified in RPC.
The Competency Certification Process is an optional additional service, which must be applied for and completed in addition to the training. There is a separate fee for competency certification.
This Course includes 20 CE hours.

Dr. Kelly professional experience includes over 30 years working in a variety of Human Service Organizations. She is a veteran and currently works as a MH consultant/counselor providing services to Active Duty Military, veteran and their families. Dr. Kelly’s has held a variety of different positions and has worked in a variety of clinical treatment settings. She served as past President of the state association’s, Georgia Addiction Counselor Association. In addition, she is the founding president of Circle of Recovery, Inc. She has served as the past Project Director at the Morehouse School of Medicine, Cork Institute, Southeast Addiction Technology Transfer Center, in Atlanta, GA. She also served as the Coordinator of the Criminal Justice Program. In addition to her experience in mental health, substance abuse, criminal justice settings, and EAP treatment settings. She has taught at several major universities, and has experience with on line courses. In addition, Dr. Kelly continues to provide ongoing consultation, training, drug/alcohol education and treatment to those in need. Dr. Kelly’s holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Human Services with a minor in psychology, from Capella University, a Master’s of Science degree in Administration with a minor in Psychology from Central Michigan University, and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Park College. Dr. Kelly currently holds certifications as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Board Certified Counselor, a Nationally Certified Life & Recovery Coach, Certified Psychotherapist, a Master Level Addictions' Counselor, Board Certified Interventionist Level II, Nationally Advanced Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist, Certified Clinical Supervisor, Certified Criminal Justice Specialist, Certified Prevention Specialist Level IV, Certified Anger Management Facilitator, Certified Distance counselor, and a Certified Risk Reduction Instructor and is a Nationally Certified Trainer/Instructor through NAADAC. Dr. Kelly’s is a member of the National Association of Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Counselors, (NADAAC), a member of the Forensic Counselors Association, and a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA).
